Night Vision Fundamentals
Night Vision Fundamentals
Course Length: 1 day or 2 day options.
Course Description: The Tier 1 Night Vision Fundamentals course is designed to introduce the technical and physical skills best suited for the use of night vision devices in low/no light conditions. NVF is not a traditional shooting course; instead it is focused on developing a foundational understanding of the proper employment of force multiplication through applied technological advantages. During this two day course, students will be introduced to the concepts and principles associated with effective use of night vision and night vision devices against threats; weapon manipulation under NV and techniques designed to maximise the inherent advantages of NV use.
Since night vision devices can be cost prohibitive, Tier 1 Tac tics has partnered with Futurama to provide each attending student with NV equipment for use during the course; IR lasers, helmets, IR flashlights and Night Vision Goggles are supplied. Students only need to bring the equipment listed ahead in the required equipment section.
NVF is not a weapons fundamentals class, attending students are expected to, and must be able to demonstrate proficiency with weapon safety and marksmanship. Failure to do so will prevent course participation.
